SAN FRANCISCO and TAIPEI, Taiwan, January 2023 – Rosetta AI, an innovator in ecommerce personalization and revenue amplifier specializing in fashion & beauty ecommerce, sparked interest totaling $2.2M from the 500 Global Flagship Fund.
Hailed a moonshot by TechCrunch at this year’s 500 Global event, Rosetta AI stood out on Demo Day.
The company’s unique personalization solutions are at work in over 2500 retail stores across Asia and drive a gross merchandise volume (GMV) of $3.5M. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) is $3.4M with a 200% growth rate.
The steady momentum is the result of the continued success of patented predictive AI-algorithms that figure out unique fashion shopper preferences. With this data in hand, ecommerce marketers can recommend what shoppers want and increase average order value by 2.5x.
“Rosetta AI solutions provide real growth for ecommerce merchants in Asia. We’ve taken notice and now the time has come to expand worldwide,” said lead investor of last year's Pre-A round, Dr. Pehong Chen, the founder of BroadVision (Nasdaq: BVSN). That round raised $2.4M. Co-investors included Artesian VC, Angel To Venture Accelerator, Loyal VC, SOSV.
For the more recent Pre-A Plus round, Rosetta AI skipped the regional 500 Global Accelerator Taiwan event and was invited directly to the 500 Global Flagship Demo Day in San Francisco where CEO Daniel Huang presented his latest pitch deck.
The response was encouraging with 9 introduction requests and 2 investors showing interest over $2.2M.

The new funding will be used to further the Rosetta AI fashion-optimized personalization products, and to expand into the US and EMEA.
